The year 2016 marks 70 years since the Australian component of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) arrived in Japan in the wake of the Asia-Pacific War.
To commemorate this anniversary, second and third year history students studying HY2018 and HY3018, Australians and the World Wars, on the Sydney campus of The University of Notre Dame Australia created websites that examine and analyse this Australian contribution to the Allied Occupation of Japan (1945-1952).
For more information about the website, please click the 'About the project' link in the left hand-side menu.
For more information about BCOF, please click the 'About BCOF' link in the left hand-side menu.

We hope that you enjoy the website!
